Welcome to the first Virtual National Forest

In 2019, we leveraged social to help Black Forest raise $100,000 to plant 100,000 trees across U.S. National Forests impacted by wildfires. In 2020, we wanted to see that number grow. Black Forest is committed to donating $500,000 this year and a new campaign on social could allow our fans to help us donate even more.

Our challenge? Create a way for our community to get involved, even if they might be stuck at home due to social distancing regulations across the US.

For every tree you plant on IG, we'll plant one IRL.

We invited the @blackforestusa community to help us build the forest by planting virtual trees, tagging any photo with #🐻❤️🌲to add their image to our virtual forest and make a donation to the National Forest Foundation.

For every photo tagged, we would make a $1 donation, up to $50,000, to help ensure our forests continued to thrive for years to come.

Partnering with The National Forest Foundation we began on Arbor Day, and gave fans a fun way to get involved in our mission from the comfort and safety of their homes.

To help spread the message, we enlisted some other influential friends of the forests to amplify and spread the word.
